Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0 Build ID: 20150415140819 Steps to reproduce: After opening "Download History" (Tools/Downloads), "Virtual Memory" consumption drastically increases. While scrolling down in history, showing 1 element takes about 25 MBytes of virtual memory. This can be observed with "Sysinternals Process Explorer" utility, in the "Virtual Size" column. The "Private bytes" column of the Process Explorer also shows this memory exhaustion. If Firefox is started without plugins, from a clean state, this behavior can also be observed. Tested on: - Windows XP SP2 / SP3 32bit / 64bit - Windows 7 32bit / 64bit. On Branch 36 this bug doesn't exists. Actual results: Virtual memory exhausted. Expected results: System's memory consumption shouldn't have increased in such a drastical way, that it leads to memory exhaustion.
