Details

The splitter widget should have a mousedown effect, because it 'feels' much 
better if it does. I get better response...

In today's CVS, the splitter grippy doesn't highlight on mousedown. I am using 
the modern theme.

I'm not sure what to do with this bug. Marlon-what do you think about having an
additional state for the splitter grippy. It currently gives mouse-over
feedback. Not sure how significant a change you can make in the highlight color
to indicate selection (mousedown). Please comment and nominate if you think this
should go in for Mach V.

Clicking a splitter grippy should 'feel' like pressing a button. It's an
important part of the UI consistency that our interface should provide.
