Visiting messenger.com on Nightly allows me to log in and see my contacts and messages. It also lets me make video calls. Visiting it from my Flame running master I only get the links to download the app for smartphones. The site doesn't seem to be using any plugins, so I don't see why it shouldn't work on Firefox OS, if the obvious user agent sniffing wasn't in place. Can we get them to change that?

Hi Panos,
> Visiting messenger.com on Nightly
Just to be clear, it's working as expected on Firefox for Android (nightly)?

Sorry, I meant Nightly Desktop. I don't know if it works on Firefox for Android.

This is part of FB's strategy around the messenger service. The experience is consistent across Safari, Chrome, & Firefox browsers on mobile devices. FB is directing users to DL the app, as opposed to serving an m.site. We can close this bug, FB will not fix.
