shows the desktop showing through inside the mozilla window.
Started mozilla and it only painted part of the open window. I will attach a
screenshot that shows my desktop showing through most of the window. The
titlebar shows the window is full-screen, but mozilla painted to the size of its
'restore down' size.

Was this reproducible? Single-instance problems are nearly impossible to track down.
single instance only, not consistantly reproducible. I'm not expecting anyone
to tear their hair out over it, but at least its known and documented.
...but (without ever looking at the code!), it feels like a race condition
scenario: <handwaving>the full/restore window size flag is not being set from
its default before being read by layout code.</handwaving>
...or just mark as invalid (screenshot be damned!) and get on with the more
important stuff. up to you. ;)
