Description: The "Submit Your Feedback" page should always appear from the right side of the screen when the user selects "Send Mozilla Feedback". It appears from the left side after the user sends feedback once. Repro Steps: 1) Update a Flame to 20150508010203. 2) Open Settings > Improve Firefox OS > Send Mozilla Feedback. 3) Select "Happy" or "Sad". 4) Type in any in the field, and press "Send Feedback". 5) Select "Done". 6) Close the Settings app from card view. 7) Navigate back to Open Settings > Improve Firefox OS > Send Mozilla Feedback. 8) Select "Happy" or "Sad". Actual: The text field sill has the previous comment. Expected: The text field is clear. Note: The text field still maintains the 1st feedback after restarting the device. After sending the 2nd feedback, the text field also displays the 1st feedback. Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 3.0 Build ID: 20150508010203 Gaia: bc5bfa18f795919b56b952bbf3637c235d0e13dc Gecko: 356e735fa908 Gonk: a9f3f8fb8b0844724de32426b7bcc4e6dc4fa2ed Version: 40.0a1 (3.0) Firmware Version: v18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:40.0) Gecko/40.0 Firefox/40.0 Repro frequency: 7/7 See attached: video clip, logcat https://youtu.be/CFMuZQUVv_g
This issue does NOT reproduce on Flame 2.2. Result: Sent feedback does not stay in the field. Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 2.2 (KK, 319mb, full flash) Build ID: 20150508002501 Gaia: 88d3ac2721a5484495c2ed60e4a068945f0de5aa Gecko: 8ad16ebe659d Gonk: ab265fb203390c70b8f2a054f38cf4b2f2dad70a Version: 37.0 (2.2) Firmware Version: v18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:37.0) Gecko/37.0 Firefox/37.0 =========================== Bug 1160649 might be the cause of this issue.

[Blocking Requested - why for this release]: Comment remains even after a restart and this is a regression so nominating 3.0?

*** Correct STR *** I missed an important steps to repro the issue. Here's the correct steps: 1) Update a Flame to 20150508010203. 2) Open Settings > Improve Firefox OS > Send Mozilla Feedback. 3) Select "Happy" or "Sad". 4) Type in any in the field, check "Check here to let us contact you from your email.". 5) Press "Send Feedback" WITHOUT providing any email address. 6) Select "OK". 7) Uncheck the checkbox, and press "Send Feedback" again. 8) Select "Done". 9) Close the Settings app from card view. 10) Navigate back to Open Settings > Improve Firefox OS > Send Mozilla Feedback. 11) Select "Happy" or "Sad".
With the correct STR, I found out that this issue also reproduces on Flame 2.2, 2.1, 2.0, and v18D-1 Base Image only. Removing regression keyword and blocking flag. Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 2.2 (KK, 319mb, full flash) Build ID: 20150508002501 Gaia: 88d3ac2721a5484495c2ed60e4a068945f0de5aa Gecko: 8ad16ebe659d Gonk: ab265fb203390c70b8f2a054f38cf4b2f2dad70a Version: 37.0 (2.2) Firmware Version: v18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:37.0) Gecko/37.0 Firefox/37.0 Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 2.1 BuildID: 20150507084645 Gaia: 3e7bd686ecd852f4dfa4605b45f558e6bd34f02a Gecko: d85173eb5bf4 Version: 34.0 (2.1) Firmware Version: v18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:34.0) Gecko/34.0 Firefox/34.0 Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 2.0 BuildID: 20150504084302 Gaia: 84898cadf28b1a1fcd03b726cff658de470282f0 Gecko: e67ed29e8ad0 Version: 32.0 (2.0) Firmware Version: v18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:32.0) Gecko/32.0 Firefox/32.0

This should be fixed from an end user's perspective but since this is not a regression not nominating to block on this.
