From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.7+) Gecko/20011220 BuildID: 2001122003 Strange dynamic page rewriting when pressing a search button on a page with url http://www.sokr.ru/ Part of the page moves. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.sokr.ru/ 2. Press and hold a search button, which is after a textfield and list (the first HTMLbutton on a page). Actual Results: Bottom part of the page (I think, after a table in which button is placed), form horisontal line and below it, moves approx. 15px up.
Same over here on Linux 2001122008 ---> NEW
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
OS: Windows 98 → All
Attached file reduced testcase
I reduced this as far as I could, when I tried to remove or combine the tables in any way the bug wouldn't reproduce. Also I gave the existing tables a 1 pixel border so you could see how the table is actually getting "chopped" when the <hr> moves up the screen.
my guess is this is a core layout issue or table issue
