clicking on the attachmet icon during mail compose brings up a file dialog with
no files listed.  Attempting to use dialog results in crash.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.compose new email
2.click attach icon
3.try to select a file...crash

Actual Results:  crash

Expected Results:  should attach file

This is a recent regression, the 2001121108 linux trunk build does this just fine.

More detail on this: after clicking attach, if you click Cancel on the first
file dialog, then click attach again, everything works fine. I am able to attach
a file and send it.  Only if you try to use the original (blank) file dialog
does it cause the crash when you attempt to use the scroll bar.
