Steps to reproduce:

Using Firefox on a 5.1.1 rom


Actual results:

After using it for a while and switching between apps this leads to black pages on every tab requiring me to completely kill and restart firefox to get rid of the bug. The tab thumbnails show the content, yet where the page should be rendered everything is black.

Expected results:

I'm seeing this too. Firefox for Android 42.0.1, Android 5.1.1 (Silent OS). Very annoying.

I'm not sure this is a duplicate. There are a number of differences:

- This issue only occurs when switching back to Firefox from another app
- The content area is completely black, not patchy like in 1213873
- Once this happens, the only way to make it normal again is to completely close the browser
- If you go to the tab switcher and close all tabs, returning to a 'new tab' page, everything turns white instead. Otherwise the behavior is the same, just the color changes.
