Steps to reproduce:

I build up a personal structure of bookmarks with many folders and subfolders, accessable via the bookmark menu under the the address field. This will be successfull saved and transfered between 2 Windows PCs, but not to the linux maschine. Here are only the "most visited" bookmarks synced. My personal bookmark menu not. Its complete lost. The same with FF on Android. I recognize this behaviour since a couple of months and hope for fix, but never does, so i decide to file its as bug.

Versions:
- on Windows always the newest FF via. PortableApps.com
- on Android 5 always the newest availaible
- Linux on ubuntu always the newses and now debian with Iceweasel (V31) and Firefox (V37) 



Expected results:

Bookmark menu  should correct synced.
I forget, passwords und urls are sucessfull synced between Windows and Linux.
@reporter, can you please recheck your reported problem? I've detected got no problem on ubuntu 14.04LTs && Win7 latest releases available Ubuntu:(Version 42.0 /Build ID 20151030084423) and win7 (Version  43.0.1  Build ID  20151216175450).

If you do have the same problem, it would be great to visit about:sync-log on the Linux desktop and upload any "error" logs that appear.
