Have the ability to run something like an automate test or script that provides a consistent set of actions for telemetry testing purposes. These actions can be collected from Firefox and then we can check s3 to make sure the correct numbers are counted.
We're getting closer to this level of test-ability on the client side. The remaining of this bug seems more relevant for the pipeline side. Moving it.

I know we (Krupa, experiment team, me) are looking at best practices to test new telemetry probes that are added to ensure they are working.

I'm going to close this bug - but this is highly on our 2021 radar.
