Steps to reproduce:

1) start firefox-bin -p, create fresh profile.
2) Manually disable all plugins
3) Restart firefox (choosing same profile)
4) Open youtube.com
5) Click on any video.



Actual results:

Audio plays fine, over-video pop-ups displayed, but content is solid black. Going to full-screen also shows black video. Essentially, it's as though the video channel had been replaced by a solid black video, or as though the codec was just returning solid black all the time.


Expected results:

Should have seen video along with audio.

Note: opening a non-e10s window (using "File > New Non-e10s Window") shows video just fine. Problem occurs only with e10s windows.

Apologies if this is a dupe; I did a quick search, and couldn't find anything relevant.

I'm having the same problem with Amazon videos playing only the audio and getting a black screen. I was going through the Shumway SWF tutorial. (https://oneanddone.mozilla.org/en-US/tasks/24/) 

1) Start firefox
2) Go to http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OC0USA6
3) Click "Watch the video"

The other videos display a black screen too.

I can also easily reproduce this, just by visiting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMP45DupbhI in an e10s-enabled window.

I had seen this intermittently last week (maybe before).  But not anymore. I'm sometimes seeing another bug with no audio for video ads before content at weather.com.
