When using JIRA to upload a file via drag-and-drop (with the "JIRA Drag and Drop Attachment" plugin -- https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.plugins.jira-dnd-attachment-plugin/versions#b116), dropped files are not uploaded, and JIRA returns an "Internal Server Error". The problem is only exhibited when Electrolysis is enabled in Aurora. Unfortunately the JIRA logs are not very helpful -- there are no errors that I can see (although I may simply be looking in the wrong spot).
Do you have a free public demo to provide to test this issue?

Unfortunately not, Loic. :/ The best I can suggest is Atlassian's own JIRA instance -- https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa -- (they're the company who make JIRA), or Apache's -- https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Dashboard.jspa . I believe both of these freely allow account creation. The problem is definitely present on Atlassian's instance; I just checked. :) Note that Atlassian runs the pre-release version, whereas Apache is running the latest stable, as I am at work. Hopefully this helps!

I have the same issue (unable to upload file using drag/drop with E10S enabled) on many other websites (Slack, GitLab, etc…) Firefox 40.0a2 (2015-05-24)

I foud this demo: https://jira.atlassian.com/projects/DEMO Does it help? If yes, could you explain the steps to reproduce with this demo.

barryvan, do you have any thoughts about my comment #4? :)

(anyway, it could be a dupe of bug 1168346)
(In reply to Loic from comment #7) > (anyway, it could be a dupe of bug 1168346) This bg has been fixed, reporter, could you test if the issue with JIRA is still present in the latest nightly build, please.

Please test if the issue still occurs in the latest Nightly build in a brand new profile. https://nightly.mozilla.org https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Confirmed fixed in Aurora 40 (2015-06-02) in Windows 8.1 64bit. Thanks for the very quick turnaround!

Actually, scratch that -- my apologies. It looks as though 1166564 and 1115956 meant that although I explicitly enabled e10s, Firefox disabled it automatically -- so unfortunately I cannot confirm that this has been fixed in the latest Aurora. My apologies for the bugspam. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1166564 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1115956

Looks like this should have been fixed in Firefox 40, see bug 936092, bug 1160279, bug 1168346, and comment #11 is right after bug 1168346 got marked fixed, so let's assume this is WFM and people can reopen if they are still having file dnd issues in e10s. All the other bugs I could find were marked duplicate or fixed. :-)
