User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0 Build ID: 20150513174244 Steps to reproduce: Use latest OS X (10.10.3) + Firefox 38.0.1 + NoScript latest version. Allow globally with NoScript. Open a bunch of tabs like gmail, calendar, chat applications like slack and irccloud and a lot of tabs. Actual results: Pages become unresponsive, they won't load, etc. And then from time to time Firefox crashes like in ... https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/b8c5d818-cd74-4411-92ba-564442150522 There's more people reporting stuff like that see https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?product=Firefox&signature=shutdownhang+|+libsystem_kernel.dylib%400x16136 And the comments here https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?product=Firefox&signature=shutdownhang+|+libsystem_kernel.dylib%400x16136#tab-comments also have good info. Expected results: It shouldn't be so slow and it shouldn't be crashing.
I've also reported this issue to NoScript see https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=20818 but after seeing a lot of people complaining about the same thing without using NoScript maybe is not related to NoScript?. In my case I was able to reproduce the issue only using NoScript.
Seems to be fixed in 38.0.5
Base of comment 2 from the reporter, this issue will have the Status: Resolved WFM Please reopen this bug if you still have this problem. Thank you.
