Steps to reproduce:
1. Bookmark any site on the http protocol.
2. Switch to the https version of the same site.
3. Go to the menu bar -> Bookmarks.
Actual results:
The entry "Bookmark This Page" does exist.
Expected results:
The entry should be "Edit This Bookmark".

How do we know if both pages are the same and the user didn't intend to bookmark a specific version of the two?
At a maximum there may be some sort of live update of the url in case of redirect or HSTS.
