[Tracking Requested - why for this release]:
Keywords: regression
I don't believe that bug 1067325 is the cause of this. The issue also reproduces in 40 for me, but 38 does not reproduce.

I think we need to look more broadly for this regression.

I cannot the problem on
https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-aurora/rev/872a53f0dbae

With e10s disabled, I tested Nightly 41 (2015-05-26 / https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/c6bbf8f1b02b) on both OS X 10.10 and Windows 8.1.

Here are the steps I used:

1. Go to http://www.htmq.com/html/sample/frame.htm
2. Select "mi" of "frame_migi.htm" in the yellow frame
3. Right-click somewhere in yellow frame, choose "View Selection Source"
4. A tab or window (depending on the pref) appears with the selection source

On both Mac and Windows, I saw the same working behavior when e10s is disabled. I agree there is an issue with e10s *on*, which is bug 1168243.

However, I cannot currently reproduce an issue with e10s off. Do you have more specific steps I can try? What if you check from a clean profile?

Okay, it works on Windows7 and Ubuntu both now.
Sorry to disturb you all.
