Currently plugins listed as outdated, although under a different heading, uses the same color and label for it's call to action button. This causes confusion at first for some users so, I suggest changing the color to gray and the label to just 'Update'

Gray is good (neutral). At first I thought yellow/gold/orange for caution, but it's probably better to reserve these for something more significant.
You might consider using gray to signal out-of-date, yellow for behind-the-times, and red for vulnerable. I'd want to update something vulnerable regardless of its version, even if it only takes me to the most recent release of that version and not the most recent version of the product. I went with blue, using the same icon as vulnerable, I am thinking of another color for unknown. Then we have:
red: vulnerable
blue: outdated
green: up to date
unknown: TBA

...except that blue (for unknown) is already well-known & accepted for unknown, so there may be some objection. Lighter blue maybe, violet, or bluish gray? But definitely should be a neutral colour.

I was a little weary of using gray as it generally signify that the button is disabled so will have to play around some more there. Also, some content updates might be in order to more clearly explain the difference between a plugin marked as outdated as apposed to vulnerable:

Good point about gray re: disabled. An unknown *could* be dangerous -- so perhaps pink (ie, a lesser degree of red). Just a thought.
