Olivier - at the Toronto 1/2 work week you mentioned you would be able to set up a mongoDB instance for bucketerer's domain information database.

I currently have just over 1.5GB, and am expecting at least 10GB total. Can we coordinate this?
Just to confirm, this is for development purposes, am I correct?
If so, I can provision a machine in the Content Services IAM.

For production use, we'd probably have to have a chat and including mostlygeek and/or relud before committing to system components.
Is your requirement of 10GB RAM?
actually, mruttley, I may have one thing better for you.

If its for dev or analysis purposes, you could use stackato:

https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=30081453

It's our self-serve compute service. There are managed databases, including a couple of versions of MongoDB.

That way you won't really need to bother with operational security and whatnot.
oyiptong: Stackato is a great idea - that way I can deploy both MongoDB and hopefully Flask. Thanks for the heads up.
travis also suggested that Heroku might be a good alternative. For either Heroku or Stackato, we don't want to have any user PII data, and for bucketerer, I think we should be okay for now.

In general, these types of platforms are good for tools that aren't directly accessed by Firefox or handling data from Firefox. (I.e., much different uptime and security properties.)
