mail component not launched when selected for start up

Details
My preferences said the Mail and the Navigator
have to be launched at start up
but only the Navigator is launched
if I choose the profile manager to start Mozilla.
I enabled the fast start (demon).

Only occurs when QuickLaunch is enabled.
