Steps how to reproduce with EN-US SeaMonkey 2.33.1 (German Language pack)  Gecko/20100101 Build 20150321194901 (Default Theme) on German WIN7 64bit

1. Go to <https://addons.mozilla.org> , log in and go to "about" for
   your AMO user profile
2. go to https://forums.mozilla.org/ucp.php?mode=login
3. from AMO profile copy / paste your user name to user name input line
   at forums.mozilla.org
4. Use Password Manage to copy / paste your addons.mozilla.org
   password to password input line at forums.mozilla.org
5. [login]
   Expected: Login
   Actula: "You have specified an incorrect username. Please check 
            your username and try again. If you continue to have problems
            please contact the board administrator"

I sent an e-mail to amo-admins@mozilla.org with reference to this bug report
Following up via email. We're moving to a different forum soon, so we won't fix any bugs in it, assuming there is one..

After e-mail discussion with Jorge:
It's a problem in AMO or forum software.
My AMO user name is something like "aBcdefG", but to log in to forum I have to use "abcdefg".

Possible reasons:
a) problem is in forum software, only accepts use of small letters for user name
b) problem is in forum software, makes capital letters to small letters when 
   receives user names from AMO software
c) problem is in AMO software makes capital letters in user name to small 
   letters when transfers to forum software, or stores wrong user names with only
   small lettres somewhere in database
d) something else

My suspect: (b), because Jorge sent to me "your user name is "abcdefg"" by
e-mail
