I'm seeing layout/reftests/image-element/bug-364968.html fail a lot recently in try pushes for lots of different patches. The common thread seems to be that anything that perturbs image decoding timing or behavior can make it fail. My intuition here is that we are somehow failing to sync decode images when element() is used in some cases. I've inspected the code and it seems like we should be propagating the sync decode flag, but perhaps there is some corner case or race where we're not doing it. We need to investigate the issue further and reenable this test, but given the critical importance of bug 1170680 for B2G 2.2 and the short amount of time remaining to land patches on that branch, I felt I couldn't wait to debug this issue before landing bug 1170680.
