I don't know exactly why, but I saw my Gecko crashing/rebooting, and after that the homescreen icons were mostly very small. Gecko 8e2e7660aed97a051dfbe03c0acaee26a8e45eba Gaia 5ef5d283279c339b54a45c206e12b01ccb1c5b77 Android 5.1

This looks like the size of collapsed icons, but the group is obviously not collapsed - possibly an exception during render meant that it stopped half-way and the style on these icons wasn't reset - do the icons remain this way if you collapse/expand a group? Or if you reboot? Are there any exceptions in the console?

If someone reproduces this, please capture the console of the homescreen and report on any exceptions. I expect this is an exception at some point during rendering and that having that exception would point us to exactly where our attention is needed.

That was the very same build as I always do, do yes, this was properly set. As I documented, I have no idea what happened, and how to reproduce.

I was unable to reproduce this issue on a recent build. Changing the flag to steps wanted since we'll need good steps before we can do valid branch checks. I was also unable to reproduce the issue. I think we first need to figure out how the reporter had their Gecko crashed at the first place, as according to the reporter the issue was only seen after the Gecko crash/reboot. Tested on 3.0 on Flame and Aries. Fabrice just reproduced it next to me, after flashing a new Gecko.

If this is being reproduced and bug 1154055 is definitely applied to whatever Gaia is flashed, please attach either a logcat (with console output) or consistent STR.
