This is a problem with the upload step which has been solved in later versions of the Desktop Build worker.

This is necessary; but isn't the whole story. I found that desktop-build:0.0.12 is broken but 0.0.13 works -- the newest 0.0.15 doesn't work on try at all on jobs that specify old checkouts of mozharness.

The difference between timing out and not is this environment variable: MOZ_AUTOMATION_UPLOAD='0'

Is this actually fixed? The landed commit doesn't have MOZ_AUTOMATION_UPLOAD: 0 in it.

p.s when landing on inbound, the sheriffs will resolve the bug fixed after they merge it to central.
