User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 Build ID: 20150604004008 Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Firefox Developer Edition 40.0a2 Build ID 20150604004008 user agent : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 2. Go to any website, I used www.google.com . 3. Right click anywhere and select "Inspect Element" 4. Click on "3D view icon" (it looks like a cube) [if it is not found, click on the "setting icon" and then you will find the "3D View" checkbox under "Available Toolbox Buttons". Check it and you will find the cube like icon on the right side of header of developer tools ], Actual results: The cube like "3D view" button does not show a 3D view of the current page layout Expected results: The button was supposed to show a 3D view of the current page layout.

(In reply to J. Ryan Stinnett [:jryans] (use ni?) from comment #2) > Is e10s off or on? If I turn e10s mode on, this option (3D view) is not found. That is the reason I could not find the option on nightly while testing it, because nightly has e10s mode on by default.

Right. It does not work in e10s for now, but a fix for e10s off will soon be in 40, probably tomorrow's update.
