In Firefox 38.0.5 the "back" button is always grayed out and is not clickable. The "back" keyboard shortcut does also not work. This also happens in safe mode, i.e. it is no side-effect of any add-on.

After downgrading back to 38.0.1 everything was fine again.
same my firefox 38.0.5 under linux, 64bit kde4, opensuse 13.1

please resolved AS SOON i'm annoying!!!
Reporters, did you test with a fresh profile?

I just re-checked just to make sure: There's indeed no "back" functionality with a fresh profile in safe mode.

Oh, and by the way, I am on openSUSE 13.2, if that matters.
Is it possible for you to run the tool mozregression, please.
See http://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/ for details and doc.

Run "mozregression --good-release 37" (no need to bisect after having the pushlog)
No, sorry, at least not in the near term. Anyone else?
This problem persists in Firefox latest version?
