When using WebVR stereoscopic rendering, the default hardware cursor must be hidden and replaced with a stereoscopic cursor rendered by the gecko compositor, in the intermediate buffer prior to the VR HMD lens distortion. This meta bug will track the work items needed to render a stereoscopic 3d cursor for WebVR and have it interact in the same manner as the hardware cursor in context to the elements it is hovering over and to CSS styling.

This has been implemented in Firefox Reality (FxR), which embeds GeckoView.
