Details
When using Mozilla, I get a constant stream of error messages on the output,
like this:
Gdk-Message: Got event for unknown window: 0x5c57baa
Gdk-Message: Got event for unknown window: 0x5c57baa
Gdk-Message: Got event for unknown window: 0x5c57baa
etc. for different numbers. This mostly happens when I change some setting, e.g.
fonts.
I use Gecko/20011221 0.9.7 release browser.

Can you reproduce this in 0.9.9 or a recent nightly?
if so it would be helpful if you could see under what circumstances those errors
are generated (otherwise they don't mean much).

happened with 0.9.9 too
one of the places when it happens is when I change keyboard mapping with
xmodmap, but there are other cases too, it seems.

Happens on the solaris2.7-1.1a 6/14 release also. These all come as the program
comes up.
Gdk-Message: Got event for unknown window: 0xc0002c
Gdk-Message: Got event for unknown window: 0xc0002c
Gdk-Message: Got event for unknown window: 0xc0002c
If you use it a while, other window numbers come up.
