Hackerplace is a directory for Firefox OS add-ons. Naively I'd asumme this should go through existing Marketplace controls. I don't know much about how things work at all as this app is nothing but a blank screen on my test phone. According to the readme, it's a hardcoded list of manifests that can be installed. It points to <https://github.com/fxos/directory/blob/master/app/js/model/list_model.js>. Github says Mike Henretty knows more, CCing him :-)

Note, we are trying to kill Hackerplace, and put add-ons into Marketplace for 2.5. In the meantime, a security review would still be useful.

This app never really made it into FxOS. Closing.
