I misunderstood/misread the code in mozcrash. It should be possible to use it as is in AutophoneCrashProcessor.

Actually, the reason I couldn't reuse mozcrash was due to its printing of the results to stdout which is in appropriate for autophone. Filed bug 1172514.
Autophone is going away. Resolving these to wontfix.
