User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0
Build ID: 20150511103818

Steps to reproduce:

Replied to an email

Actual results:

Thunderbird started it with
"Bugzilla@Mozilla ha scrito il 09/06/2015 alle 09:27:"

Expected results:

Thunderbird should have started it with
"Bugzilla@Mozilla ha scritto il 09/06/2015 alle 09:27:"

"scrito" -> "scritto"

"scrito" in Italian doesn't not exist

Which version of Thunderbird are you using? I don't see that string anywhere right now.
Just a note: Some Linux distributions uses external language files for Firefox and Thunderbird. Sometimes it happens that you have an old version of that language file in use which is something that only Ubuntu can fix.

The reporter could run a Thunderbird build as a test.
OK, found it

It's in the 31.x, and unfortunately there's nothing we can do there.

It's already fixed in the next release (38.x), not sure when it will be available. The specific error was fixed 7 months ago :-\

Thanks for the report, closing this bug as WONTFIX for TB31.
