1173649 - Will not allow me to write some capital letters in the address field

Steps to reproduce:

In the past i have visited http://wiki.dansk-gruppen.dk/index.php/Gimp (with "Gimp" at the end).

Afterwards i have suggested to use "GIMP" instead of "Gimp" i the URL to the people that run the website.


Actual results:

For some reason if i insert http://wiki.dansk-gruppen.dk/index.php/ in the address field (without going to the address) and the hold down shift and type "GIMP" firefox does not allow me to write it with capital letters.

It becomes "GimP".

Same thing with Caps Lock instead of holding shift.

If i insert http://wiki.dansk-gruppen.dk/index.php/G (now with "G" at the end) and then write "IMP" now i can write with big letters.

But if i hit backspace 4 times to delete "GIMP" and try writing it again firefox again does not allow me to write with big letters. So its "GimP" instead of "GIMP.


Expected results:

I should be allowed to write big or smaller letters in the address field no matter what the browser history might be.

Could you test:
1) in safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
2) with a fresh profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Safe mode is the same.

Funny thing if i clear the history and visit this page first:
http://wiki.dansk-gruppen.dk/index.php/GIMP

Then if i delete the 4 last letters ("GIMP") and now type a big "G" and try to type small "imp" it becomes "GIMp".

Same with new profile.
