Hello, there are Upper Sorbian (hsb) and Lower Sorbian (dsb) builds for TB 38.0.1 now. But they are not listed on the official download page: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/ Please add them to the download page. Thanks.

Kann man da nicht zwei Zeilen einfach manuell einfรผgen?
Oh, I used German. Isn't it possible to insert simply two new lines?
I'd rather make sure we have the knowledge to auto-generate this stuff. Sure its easy to just add the lines, but if we need to add to other files for the auto-generate script the website may be overridden in the future :)
I see. Well, I hope it won't take too much time, I'd like to proudly present my third official Mozilla project in Sorbian soon. :-)
I think about the order of the Sorbian entries yet. On the Firefox download page, both languages have big gaps between themselves. The entries are Lower Sorbian and Upper Sorbian. But I'm thinking about if we shouldn't use Sorbian (Lower) and Sorbian (Upper) instead. They would be one beneath the other. Otherwise it may be better if the Firefox download page and the Thunderbird download page would have the same order for both languages. What do you think about this?
(In reply to Philipp Kewisch [:Fallen] from comment #1) > Looks like we need to run > http://hg.mozilla.org/users/bugzilla_standard8.plus.com/drivertools/file/ > default/website/generateThunderbirdDetails.py to update the page. > > Mark, can you help us out here? We don't need to run that script - and actually, its better not to now, as it'll generate too many changes, and probably overwrite the constant that's at the top of the file. Even if it was used later, the shipped-locales file from the release is used to generate the locale list, so it would get it right. I've tried changing the file in r142467, however, for some reason staging doesn't seem to pick up the changes - however, I think the new file might be in bedrock, so maybe Kohei knows (Kohei - if this is bedrock, we need "cy" aka Welsh adding as well).

I don't know much about the syncing, but right now I can see cy, dsb and hsb on staging: https://www-dev.allizom.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/ https://www.allizom.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/

Yes, that's true but it is the staging page only. But on https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/ they are not displayed.
Fine! Thank you very much! Now it works on https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/ as well!
Looks like the change has been deployed 1 hour ago.

It's another thing, I know, but the web sites I sent to Mark are still in English, e.g. the start page: https://www-dev.allizom.org/hsb/thunderbird/ So the download link is missing there as well.
Michael, I'm not quite sure how it goes, but I believe localizing https://www-dev.allizom.org/hsb/thunderbird/ works the same way as other pages in bedrock: http://bedrock.readthedocs.org/en/latest/l10n.html I might risk tossing you around, but can you check with the folks from #l10n how exactly the website localization works? I'm not sure what needs to be set up so that the page is enabled for localization. Also note that the /all/ page doesn't seem to be localized for Firefox either. If that doesn't work for you, please needinfo Mark to clarify.
No, the /thunderbird/ page is still on the SVN repo and written in PHP. So the l10n process is different. I'll migrate the content to Bedrock within a few months. (Bug 836462)
@Philipp: Until now I translated on Pootle only. There is a project "Web Parts" where all Mozilla pages are translated. But no TB pages. I am a translator and not a developer. I didn' like to esplore a new software like Bedrock just for translating web pages.
I still have the files that Michael sent me, but I haven't had time to upload them yet as I've been very busy. I might get chance to do it tomorrow.
Never mind, Mark. But now I know that you got them.
Hi, meanwhile more than one year has been past but Lower and Upper Sorbian aren't on the TB download page yet. When will it be done?
I believe Philipp is the co-ordinator here now.

Now TB 45.3.0 is for download on the page. But Lower and Upper Sorbian are not available for download there yet. Is that so difficult to add these languages to the page? :-(

Ok, here is the first step, adding it to the primary builds. This should get it into the product details, I am not sure if this happens immediately or after the next release. The next step after would be to ping folks in #www to update bedrock from product details, which will add it to the download page.

Fine, thank you. Good things come to those who wait. :-)
Sorry for the delay :-} Feel free to ping me more often in case things like this happen again.
