Folders spring open too quickly on mouseover

When filing away messages on a lengthy and complex folder tree, the auto expand
of the folder tree occurs too quickly. As the user goes about looking for the
folder he/she wishes to file into too many of the wrong folders start opening
up. This is not due to Mozilla getting things wrong with the mouse position.
The problem is that there isn't enough delay for the auto expansion. The actual
target folder gets scrolled off the screen, thus making the client more
difficult to use.
Recommend either another half second or so delay in the auto expand on the
folder tree, or an additional system preference. Probably enough prefs in there
already, so I would think the preferrable solution would be a slight increase in
the mouseover delay.

I've made all the delays in tree widget configurable - bug 117954.
So you will be able to adjust them as you want.

reporter, are you still ok with an additional pref ?
if so, bug 117954 got just fixed and you can adjust spring load timer by this pref:
user_pref("ui.treeOpenDelay", value_in_miliseconds);

I haven't yet tested the fix as of yet. I would prefer to close this bug with an agreeable
default setting as I see this as a usability kind of issue. Not even experienced users enjoy
diving into prefs.js for every little thing. Some things just oughtta work.
Looks like nightly FreeBSD builds are a happening again. I'm pulling down yesterday's build
right now and will report back as to what I find.

need second opinion as I'm not up on the history of this - but I don't see a delay problem in my usage of current builds.
Note: ui.tree* is not found in about:config
