Steps to reproduce:

When I go to any website with a textbox, the input is very slow
Typing into the Facebook login (on their mobile site) actually causes Google Keyboard's animations to severely lag.
I tested this with Google, DuckDuckGo, Songmeanings, Wikipedia, and more.
I can consistently reproduce this.


Actual results:

The animations on Google Keyboard should not be affected, and the textbox input should update in real time.


Expected results:

Certain websites (Facebook) causes the animations of Google Keyboard to lag and delay. Also, the input into the textboxes is severely delayed.

I am unable to reproduce this on my android phone. Are you still able to reproduce this in the latest version ?

Yes. I just compared Google and Duckduckgo on Firefox 44.0.2 on Android with the same websites on Lightning Browser (blink / webkit). Google is actually a little more responsive with typing on Lightning. However, it lags a lot on Firefox while Duckduckgo (and other search boxes) respond just fine.

yes, it is reproducible. Firefox is slower while using Duckduckgo. My phone's screen also blinks frequently when the search box is tapped.
