From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Mac_PowerPC) BuildID: 20011227 While I'm using Limewire, which is a Mac client for the Gnutella network, Mozilla will not open at all. It will see the Mozilla trademark, then it will crash - I can't even get to the home page. I've not had this happen on other browsers; I'm always able to use both Mozilla and Limewire at the same time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download Limewire 2. Run Limewire 3. Run Mozilla Actual Results: Mozilla won't open. Expected Results: Mozilla to run while Limewire is running.
Emile St. Claire, the best way to deal with crasher bugs is to use a talkback build and put the talkback incident ID in this bug. This allows us to get a stack that points out where the crash happened.
I installed Limewire, but it seems to just display a splashscreen then exit. No problem launching today's build after that.
FYI: The PC version of the Limewire installer untill recently contained a trojan/virus: W32.DlDer.Trojan More info at http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/trojan
