I have recently noticed that Thunderbird is downloading my Inbox emails over and over again. The status bar shows "Downloading <N> of 8434 in Inbox" where <N> goes through the full range from 1 to 8434. It does this several times a day, and I see it consuming download bandwidth and CPU accordingly. The state of my Inbox doesn't appear to change (it has all the emails already). I'm using Thunderbird 38.0.1, and my email account is a Yahoo account set up using IMAP. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide to help diagnose the problem.
