Expected results:

I want to be able to display an icon/text in the status bar. I know that I can fire a notification with the _sticky_ attribute turned on but I would really like to see something better/ more customisable.

Examples:
- play/pause icon in music player
- voip avaiable
- pacman eating dots
- latest news
- home alarm connected to phone
Resolved as Firefox OS addons provide the same functionality
