Details

We have business development discussions with various antivirus companies to provide apps for Firefox OS. Most discussed scenarios scenarios evolve around app filtering (blacklists, developer karma, code reviews, etc) and safe browsing URL checking. Even though this was brought up before, this is in a very early stage. To my knowledge we don't even have safe-browsing integration on FxOS.

We have safe browsing support in FxOS. It's not turned on yet, but will be as soon as I figure the test failures from bug 1168658.
With our app model rethink and NGA, it will be good to revisit this later for possible application level and system level integration points.

Happy to discuss any and all proposals (we've had some in the past but they never really went anywhere). The areas you cite above sound like reasonable places to start though.
