This keepalive logic was added under Bug 922688 but is no longer valid on OSX Yosemite 10.10. This has caused collectd to NEVER load on these systems. The collectd.plist(5) man page on 10.10 states: NetworkState <boolean> This key is no longer implemented as it never acted how most users expected. ... Thanks Apple
