The new iteration of the L10n API is almost ready to be landed in Gaia. The code is at https://github.com/l20n/l20n.js/tree/v3.x.

I compared two Flame phones side by side, one with master and the other one with FM app ported to l20n. Visually, both for default and non-default, l20n feels slightly faster at times, even if the cold launch time metric sometimes is a little bit higher. In all cases I can sometimes see the radio dial which is then immediately hidden by the plug-the-antenna message.
