Software still takes up 50-118% of CPU. on my 13 inch early 2014 macbook air. Running yosemite 10.10.3 We also tried creating a new user, and it did the same thing. When using safari or Chrome it doesn't replicate Actual results: takes up 50-118% gives me poor battery life and causes the fan to continuously run Expected results: Operate as expected.
Does this happen on particular websites, or always no matter what site you are visiting? Do you have any addons installed? If so could you try disabling them all and restarting and see whether that fixes the problem? I'm asking around to see if we have an easy way to collect a profile that an engineer can look at.
