117645 - download stalls when another file save dialog appears

When saving a file, using Save Link As... and getting another dialog causes the
original download to pause.

Steps to reproduce:
Right click on a link to a file.
Save Link As...
Begin save.
When the progress meter appears, repeat above steps on another link.
When the dialog pops up, the progress meter on the original download stops,
and I don't see packets flying on the wire. (tcpdump)

Linux 2.4.17, gcc-3.0.2, glicb-2.1.3 against 2.2.19, debian/potato, CVS pull:
checkout start: Tue Jan 1 00:50:41 PST 2002
checkout finish: Tue Jan 1 00:54:39 PST 2002

Seeing this too on WinXP with most recent CVS. Not sure if this is a regression
or if it's always been this way (I sure hope not). This seems pretty serious

I've seen this all the time with Mozilla 1.0.x and 1.3x on Win 2000/NT4. This is
serious. I wonder why this hasn't so much attention.

Please change the summary "... stalls ..." to "... stalls/pauses/halts ...".
Then it's easier to find them.
