Steps to reproduce:
The folder is switched from a left menu.
左のメニューよりフォルダーを切り替える
Actual results:
The message list displayed to switch the folder in the right is not displayed, and the one of the previous folder.
フォルダーを切り替えると右に表示されるメッセージ一覧が表示されなかったり、前のフォルダーのもののままだったりする
Expected results:
メッセージの一覧が正しく表示されるべき。Thunderbird 38.0.1から発生。

Please try to disable the hardware acceleration through untick Options/Advanced/Use hardware acceleration when available. Results?

Other PC was the same situation.
Moreover, this problem was solved by ThunderBird 38.1.0.

Thanks for the update.
When the problem goes way and we do not know exactly which patch helped, we close it WORKSFORME.
(unless it is known that the case was something other than Thunderbird)
