Created attachment 8625288 [details] 2015-06-22_143527.jpg User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0 Build ID: 20150525141253 Steps to reproduce: Reading an RSS-feed with German umlauts in the dc:creator field / senders address (e.g. in attachement = "Jobbörse") Actual results: The new feature "Support Internationalized domain name URLs for RSS feeds (Bug 1018589)" causes problems rendering German umlauts in the dc:creator field, see screenshot in the attachement. The charset / encoding of the sender's address seems to be wrong. Expected results: German umlauts in the dc:creator field should be shown correctly.
Do you have any basis or evidence for attributing the cause? The error is due to the utter failure of followup on long known jsmime regressions. This extension happens to fix the problem, you can decide if it's suitable. http://totalmessage.mozdev.org/

Encoding seems messed up the dc:creator field.
