Page loads,and so does the player, and a video gets buffered, but the video doesn't begin playing. Clicking in the video content area doesn't make the video start. However, using spacebar (after giving the player focus) or clicking the Play button does. However, I have to do that twice: once to pause it (even though the video hasn't started playing) and once to play. This seems to happen with all Youtube videos. Note: trying to fast forward or rewind a video pauses the video permanently (until the page is reloaded). This happens in Safe mode too. But doesn't happen in a relatively fresh profile. Using 41.0a1 (2015-06-23), but this has been happening for several days. Meanwhile, videos play great in Chrome.
