I dragged a YouTube tab out into a new window and got a black tile in the browser chrome. This is in non-e10s.

The black tile didn't go away after invalidation and persisted even across window resizes.

I got a profile with layer contents (both main thread + compositor) but the black tile is not showing in the recorded layers contents:

Was the glitch still occurring on the screen for the frames in the profile?

If so then the texture data is likely correct and it's a problem with the drawing code.

I used to see this from time to time but I haven't seen these tiling issues recently. Have you seen them recently?

No, I think it only happened to me once or twice in total.
