When setting up "RunWhatsApp", you are asked to select a country from a predefined list, and then separately enter your mobile number. These parameters are then used to confirm msisdn of the user.
Problem is that scrolling down the long list of countries is not smooth. Performance & responsiveness are poor.

Scrolling is also slow in the contact list, and we think the issues are identical. We're tracking it in PluotSorbet issue #845 <https://github.com/mozilla/pluotsorbet/issues/845>.

As Bill Walker notes in bug 1177394, comment 24, he has directed his engineering team to stop work on RunWhatsApp in favor of our new focus on progressive web apps, so we won't have time to spend on this.
