I ended up offline and thought the market place was displaying bad quality apps because it didn't show the icons - would be nice that market place warn users they are offline and that the experience is going to be degraded.
Feature request for Marketplace. Caitlin, can you forward to the right person?

We do, but we only check that on startup and focus, so if you lose connectivity with Marketplace already opened, you don't see the warning. Should we show the warning as soon as we detect a loss of connectivity instead ? It takes the full window and prevents you from using Marketplace for as long as you are seen as offline.

Pretty please , yeas it would be nice to be told that the app is not usable when you are offline.

This is certainly worth doing once we have a consumer for the marketplace in a future version of FxOS.
