Steps to reproduce:

Then TB is opened and new message is created ALL address book is in the sidebar. I select Personal Address book (which should be default) and write and send the email. 


Actual results:

I exit TB and open TB again to write another email. All Address Book is displayed again.


Expected results:

Personal Address Book should be in the sidebar. I upgraded to version 40 beta but the bug is still there. I have 4 computers but this bug is only manifests itself on one.

Same problem with TB 38.1.0
Now, after upgrading to 38.1 I am getting the same problem with all computers. Before I only had it with a few.
It seems this bug is a duplicate of bug 1142705.

Thanks Ribot, indeed. Reported against TB 38.1. Per bug 1142705 comment 78, and confirmed by users, fixed for TB 38.5. Note that Bug 1236553 is still outstanding at the time of this comment, meaning that only "All Addressbooks" will NOT yet be remembered in contacts side bar.
