Hello, I created a localization file for mozillians.org from the copy I found in Verbatim here: https://localize.mozilla.org/ro/mozillians/export/zip

Mozillians is available on Verbatim
https://localize.mozilla.org/ro/mozillians/

You should be able to see an "Upload" link now, and upload your .po file. Then you'll need to commit it back using "Commit all to VCS"

Alright, I made the adequate changes and I think I have the hang of this Verbatim thing.

Now how long would it take for the new locale to be visible in the website? Are there special procedures to add a new locale to a project that doesn't have it yet?

It's been already explained clearly by Pascal in bug 176733, I don't think there's anything else to add to what he said.

Strings are not set in stone, you and Cristian can help Jobava with QA (as you did). Nobody was localizing Mozillians at the moment, do you think that's better than not having a translation at all?

Support for Romanian has been added to the latest version of Mozillians:

It should be up on staging mozillians.allizom.org in short order.

I don't understand the reason of this bug. Anyway, I've reviewed full translation here:

So now it should be ok and if Jobava wants, he could check all the changes I made there. ;)

We are waiting to see first Romanian version on the staging server. Hope it won't take too long. :D

Thank you for your review, it was genuinely valuable.

I have added my comments (inline to the diff) to that here:

Green text was what was added, red text is what was removed. Verbatim does mangle and add needless newlines, but it should be intelligible.

We can use github comments to discuss exactly on the changes before they are added to Verbatim and from there into svn.

Tell me what you think.

I made the last modifications, following a review by Cristian.

They look nice to me and I kept most of Cristian's suggestions. Should be ready for production unless there are other objections.

Raul, unfortunately Verbatim does not track changes, it's why I am posting these diffs.

Nope, Jobava is still not able to understand anything. I've lost 2 hours to review all the translations and after this to explain to him what is wrong and why I decided to translate some strings in that way. Didn't understood and decided to make whatever he wants.

Staging website is not yet updated, we need to ping the mozillians devs for that (channel #commtools in Mozilla IRC).
