When sync encounters an error while syncing, it pops up a yellow dialog at the bottom of the screen. This seems to prevent the browser chrome from resizing below a certain width, causing the browser UI to become clipped, rather then resizing correctly. The problem goes away when the "sync encountered an error while syncing" is closed.

I've attached pictures of this problem on my laptop (OSX, 10.10).

This happens because the Sync notification dialogs work differently than global ones. This other bug I'm working on (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=691849) will fix this too.

Sorry for the delay here, but we've indirectly fixed this by removing that error bar completely!
